Sci/Art 12- Season Color Analysis
There are many different color analysis systems out there. On this page, you'll learn what makes Sci/Art different. You'll also learn what to expect at your color analysis appointment, and what is included in your investment in color analysis.
What makes your color analysis method different from other systems?
Your natural beauty is unique to you. You have your own personal palette, created by the pigments that color your skin, hair, and eyes. In a Sci/Art analysis, we are finding the perfect harmony of reds, yellows, blues, browns, and blacks that makes you undeniably you. Sci/Art is a 12-season system, so your palette is made up of 1/12th of the colors that exist in our world.

Your colors should reflect the real you—your best you. This isn't about changing your skin tone (making yourself look tanner/darker/lighter) or adding what’s not there. On the flip side, we also don't want to artificially bring attention to features we'd rather not highlight (e.g. dark under eye circles, rosacia, blemishes). It’s about removing the distraction of the wrong colors and using the ones that naturally bring out your features and beauty.

The Sci/Art method applies a highly controlled, scientific approach to uncover your individual color composition, ensuring a palette that perfectly highlights your natural beauty.

To ensure the utmost precision in your draping, I utilize:
-
full-spectrum lighting
-
a neutral-gray backdrop
-
neutral-gray clothing capes to cover mine and my client's clothing
-
neutral gray client hair cover
-
a curated set of NDU Colors harmonized fabric drapes.
This meticulous setup eliminates any external influences (e.g. lighting variation, distracting colors on our clothing or in the room) that could compromise the accuracy of your color analysis. You will leave confident that we have pinpointed your most impactful colors for clothing, hair, and makeup (if you wear it!)
What should I expect at my color analysis?
1. Introduction to Seasonal Tones: We'll start with a fun (I hope!) lesson about the 12 color seasons and their unique color qualities. You'll learn what we'll be looking for during your analysis.

2. Color Draping: Using controlled, full-spectrum lighting, a neutral grey backdrop, and a curated set of NDU Colors harmonized fabric drapes, we'll pinpoint your best colors over the course of about two hours. I'll encourage you to ask questions, express opinions, and address any concerns as we go through the multitude of drapes. I want you to be able to see the results for yourself; I want you to see why you are your season to the exclusion of any other. So, if we need to take more time exploring drapes, we will!

3. Personalized Guidance: You'll receive comprehensive instruction on how to use your color fan to pick out clothing, makeup, jewelry, and to create harmonized outfits.
